My final in animation this semester is to animate Batman throwing a bola. I have about 18 gestural DWG's done and I'm working on the background now. When I'm happy with the BG, I'll go back and start tightening up the animation.
I should've done the bg first. Id have a much easier time placing the character on it.
Anyway, this is roughly what my scene would look like now. I'd like to hear some comments on composition, perspective etc.
And if you have any references for Gotham City bridge, I'd love to see them. ^_^
