I've applied to the Graphic Design program at George Brown and I was wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on the program? I've read about it on their website (http://www.gbrownc.on.ca/Marketing/FTCal-Jan/design/G102.html) and it seems to be very good. They have a wide range of areas you can focus on.. I'm particular interested in Illustration.

I have a friend who's going there right now. From what he's told me it's kinda wack... Like the fact that a lot of the work they do on computer, but this past summer they upgraded to Mac G5's... the only problem is, the G5's didn't get to the school until the 4th or 5th week so for those first few weeks they weren't doing anything. This is also his second year in the program, but over the summer they decided to change the program and so as a result some of the course he took last year are useless towards graduation. Didn't sound very right to me, like how can they dick around students like that?
Regardless of that trouble, from what I've heard it's one of the best graphic design programs in the province.

Oh wow, that sucks. I hope students going into the program in January won't have similar problems...
So for someone who's interested in photography, design, and illustration like myself, would you say this program is a good choice? I'm starting to have doubts...
