I have no clue why you would feel disgusted with yourself. Maybe you are over stating things for comedic effect (humor can be hard to pick up on the internet), but if you really felt that odd about it you maybe have some serious gender issues.
I've shot models before that I could tell weren't giving me as much as they could because they felt "silly" doing certain things, but the ones who were totally comfortable and didn't care always give the best results.
Work out whatever qualms you have and just go with it. OR make some women friends you can ask. You don't have to be dating them to get them to pose.

I don't understand...... did the pose cause self arousal?
If you have feelings like that I suggest staying well away from life drawing classes.

Diet and plenty of exercise will get rid of the man boobs.

Girls ARE pretty disgusting. I wouldn't want to pose like them either.
Oh....wait. Nevermind.

Okay, riceface. :3 There are some poses that I've done, but I haven't been disgusted by them, no way! o_o I guess the good thing is, no one HAS to know it's you...even you can forget that you made the pose! Focus on the gesture and that can be all you need. The important thing is that it helps you with whatever you're creating. :)

Mate, maybe you don't google much, but I assure you if you put "girls" into google you'll come up with plenty of reference pictures.

I'll get into the poses of my characters all the time, even in public. (The looks you get are rather hilarious. :D )

Were you spreading your nether cheeks in a mirror or something? Seriously, what on earth could you have done to feel disgusted?

I would, but all my crinolines and panties are at the laundry. Do you know how g'damn hard it is to get lime Jello and licorice stains out of your scanties?

Did the cat sign the release form? Can’t believe you put it through that and then change its character entirely (for the better I might add).
