You have some great stuff, you seem to draw a lot of inspiration from the video game you're playing. I think it's great, should be an interesting direction to head to.
You showed little colored works, how about some more? Maybe taking some sketches and coloring them, or creating works from zero with a tablet/mouse (I hope the former)?

Yes, you are right, I have only 3 colored drawings and the first ones and the only I ever did in PS, I don't really have time to work on PS atm + I don't know why but at some point I lost the passion of using colors, a long time ago I used to paint a lot, now i don't do it anymore, i think like 6 years have passed since I touched a brush.

You are right JoeS, artists like Samwise allways inspired me and they will always do, watching their works made me start drawing. I allways admired the blizzard artists and not only blizzard ones, but Warcraft was the first game I ever player, i think i was only 8-9 years old or somthing so it had a biger influence on me than other games.

Well my inspiration used to be the games I used to play, the movies I saw and ancient armors/weapons, but now I am taking inspiration from nature, ancient cultures/ religions, at least I am trying to build solid concepts based on that because I don't wan to end up doing fan arts all my life :)

hey that one you did with the guy kneeling and holdin the sword looks really good only suggestion would be for the hand it looks like you just drew a fist then drew the sword going through it just grab a broom stick or something and see how your fingers look around it but great style looks really good

Obviously as a whole this is a great sketchbook but that dante's inferno piece is just wonderful. Also really like the architecture way harder than characters in my opinion. Great stuff though. Can't believe your only 17, but you also live in Romania.LOL.

wow wonderful architecture drawings beautiful style and rendering. you have great rendering and hatching technique. as far as a crit i would say on the last peice the composition of could be improved, the tree on the left side guides my eye up and into the corner of the page but there is nothing to bring my eye back down to the main drawing, so it distracts from the focus a little.

Hey NightShake, I like where you are going with all the characters on previous pages. I've noticed though thats a lot of them are in similar poses and don't show much variety in angle. It would be interesting if you depicted them from all different sides, behind, from above, below, etc... Your buildings are pretty neat.

yes, you are right the poses very similar, I wanted to find some good concepts, but soon I will start working on a comic and I will use a lot of different poses in there.

Ooooooh great last page Night. I like the way you did his hair and arm muscles. It also looks like you are playing around with the viewpoints here. Something you might try is when you are doing your line shading is to add in some crosshatching in an area where you want more texture. Anyways, keep it up!
