New to Painter x

I started doing digital art only a few days ago. I decided to give painter x a try and downloaded the trial version before buying it. Does anyone have any tips on how to get beter at it and which types of brushes are easier to use.

read the manual fully. then open a blank file and experiment with all the different brushes- different ppl use different brushes.maybe buy ryan churches painter itro dvd.
