The company i was going to work for ended after paychecks were not coming in to the employees.
So, i'm going to be looking for freelance or a full time job.
Here is the work i did that i've yet to show on this forum.

Man, that all grey one is really cool...
You should work some more on those bird people...Give them more costume and detail the HEll out of it. It would be a nice contrast to your other work.
The ever progressive.

i don't think i'll be working on any of these concepts anymore, the birds were given to me from my future art director.
I only had like 2 hours to do the first one. I do think they are a neat concept though, maybe i'll draw some with my own ideas in mind.

Very cool ideas davi. Sucks about the job, but oh well. You got some good stuff out of it.
I like the third one a lot:) Cool bone golem too!

I love the brush strokes on the third one, I wish I could do that. The birds dont do much for me, but as your characters get weirder and weirder further into the post, the cool factor increases. Some nice work in here, good job.

They definitely get better and better as they go down... the last for characters are great.
Sucks about the job man.

Too bad the job fell through, but it seems you've been busy nonetheless and these turned out great. I'm loving it all, but the 4th, 5th, 6th and last one are really my cup of tea. Good to see some new stuff by you. Good luck :)

Hmm...a few of those look to be SLIGHTLY similar to some creature concepts I've been toying with for a home-made D&D campaign world.
Great stuff, btw. :)

thanks guys, i appericate the comments and wishes.
Carnifex: i'm alittle confused on what you mean by arm proportions being "way off", since they are all giant monsters... I like giving my super strong figures extra long arms, sort of gorillia`ish.
The hawk's arms on the other hand could use some touch up on length.
again thanks for the comments, i'll continue trying my best to progress

I really like the third one down. You did a good job of capturing the expression on it's face Davi.

hey davi, keep it up man, your chance will come again real soon.
as for these pieces, my only crits are:
these poses are all very stiff, and i would like to see something more dynamic from you.
try to understand color more, so you can start move away from the primary and limited palette.
also, you tend to heavy outline your characters. lines are only powerful when you can really integrate them into your drawing skin and bones alike. try to varify the strenth of your lines and lose the tightness. relax then draw and let your lines flow.

really cool paintings... but they are lacking of detail...
perhaps you should work much more on details...otherwise these are very cool.Keep it up man!

I like the Bat type creature and the rock golem. Those two look especially well done and I really enjoy their colours, especially the rock golem.
Great work as usual, unfortunate about the job, but I'm pretty sure you can get another, especially with work like this. Good luck :)

Wow! Nice dump, Davi. Nice to see you're improving! I love the textures and color on the fire golem, and the... uh... rock with a stick in it is pretty damn cool, too.

I have to appoligize for the late reply, my computer has been broken for over a week...
Thanks for the crits and comments.
mushuhaha, i agree with all your statements, and all of them i'm trying to work on better. I started working with real paper and materials and my line work has improved greatly because of it... i really have a better eye at seeing where i lack when i work with real mediums.
before i got actually serious with art, all i did before it was cartooning, and to be frank... crap cartooning... so illustration, painting, and dynamics are all new to me. I think as an artist i might always stay 'stiff', but i need to figure out how to make it actually work better... hopely just experience will guide me over time.
again thanks for the comments and wishes.
