emotions in art

How do you view emotions in art... what is one of the best example of such art. AND what is your opinion on art that shows emotion (in my opinion all art does)

Edvard Munch comes to mind, but rather than show The Scream, which is obvious I will show Death in the Sick Room.

I think art that shows emotions is more compelling than art that shows no emotions (but I would not consider that statement a grand revelation). I'm all for it.

I think all art has at least a slight bit of some emotion attached and that it's certainly something that makes a piece more alluring.
