Hello guys 8)

The only thing i ever drew was anime and manga.
And so i figured that it's time to leave DA, cut the crap and learn how to actually draw, since i want to pursue art as a career.

I'd love any suggestions and tips!
I don't have much to post yet (...that isn't anime LOL)
But hopefully, having this sketchbook here will help me improve.

I figured maybe folds is a good place to start, so i threw a towel on my chair and tried it out.
In the past i mostly drew black and white, so i do have trouble picking the right colours and stuff D: but hopefully this kind of observational still life will help.

Good day!

There's a lot of things i have a hard time getting rid of, since i actually have a pretty specific way of drawing already. It's difficult to just draw without making shit up, if you guys know what i mean LOL.

I'm want to learn how to draw alligators because one of my characters has one as a pet. And they happen to be my my absolute favorite animal i guess

can someone tell me how to put a picture beside the thread's name? LOL

And i'd love some critique please. I heard this place can actually help, unlike deviantart. Would someone prove the rumours true please?
