Artist wanted for webcomic about a girl and her pet raccoon

I have found a great artist, please don't apply anymore!

I am currently looking for an artist for a webcomic about a girl and her pet raccoon in the style of "Calvin and Hobbes". The comic strip is supposed to be updated at least twice per week. I can pay around $25 for a black and white strip consisting of four panels. I have posted this offer in this forum since the total amount is well over $500. If a moderator thinks that the rather low pay makes it more suitable for the "< $500" forum, he can move this thread.

Some of you may already wait for my reply to their application e-mail. The point is that I've already gotten around 45 applications and most of them are really worth considering. It's fantastic that there is so much interest, but it's also giving me quite a headache to make up my mind and not to say prematurely "No." to someone who might have been the perfect choice. So please don't expect to get an answer to your application before the weekend.

This does not mean that applications are already closed, just that I have already gotten more than I've ever imagined.
