i agree with your assessment, bu I think that the green one had the most effort invested into it. The red and blue could look just as good if you'd spent the same amount of time/attention to detail as you did on the green. I actually think the red would be more interesting than the green, but probably just because I find red to be a more striking color.

Nice. I like all of them. The green is my favorite, mainly because I like the background in the green. I like the blue because of the shadow in it and the red because the man stands out better than in the other two. I don't particularily like the background in the red one though, hurts my eyes. Making it darker would help I think.

Green is the best. It has the best consistency and color, and nothing really seems out of place.

If you could "blend" the blue one more, I think it might make the best of all of them. (But then again blue is my favorite color, especially darker blue). :chug:

Definitely the green if you dont feel like changing anything up.

I like the blue and green. I like that the blue one feels like a locale because of the shadow and the 'texture' (if you will) of the wall behind him is pocked and chipped. The green one has more of a emotional bent to it.

I like the green the best, too. You have nice details on the skin using contrasting colors, green/red. I'd like to see some more of that detail in the hair, though. As deadskies said, it does seem like you spent more time on it than the others. What order did you paint them?

Also, you have to remember that people associate colors with certain things. The green gives the feeling of something poisonous or rotton, etc. Blue is usually associated with either peace, sadness or even death. Pink/red = passion/love. Since your title of this piece is "The Miser" I think either the green or blue fits well.
