Can I make it work?

Errgh. This one's been giving me a headache. I want to finish it, but I don't know if it is worth it. I am tempted to lay down a layer of line-work to define the edges of the buildings and the guards.

I dunno. Anybody have any thoughts? Chuck it and start over?

It's definitely worth keeping buddy, I really like the background. Maybe add a line layer just for the characters in the foreground, but leave the buildings as they are.

The building is so cool that I think you should completely revalue the two characters...do a bunch of very small thumbnails...

Right now there's no unity in the picture. There's buildings on the top and figures on the bottom, but it looks like two different pictures. Find some way to unify the whole thing... maybe bring the buildings down a bit more, define the area around the figures a bit instead of leaving it all foggy. Make some ghostly shapes within the fog. That's what I'd do... Peace

OOh OOh I have an idea, put some glowy/glittery lights going from top of pic to his hand and around him in some swirly pattern, they're always magikal. Just a suggestion tho, cause I agree its divided too much. I thought it was an environment pic till i got to the bottom.
