You guys ever get out of the theatre thinking "man if they had only done this, or that."

You only get one movie to change and it can be anything from visuals to storyline.

I don't know why, but Fifth Element seemed to pop out in my head. I love those kind of movies, they move me so deeply. The music from it just made my heart ache. I really wish they had taken it to a new level, beyond the funny/bang bang/romance. Also, new cast. They need someone else than Bruce Willis, I think he ruined the movie for me.

(Can I get two?) I haven't seen the third Matrix, but I wish the second one had been done differently. They W- brothers seem to have taken everything that was good in the first one (i.e. STORY) and rape it in the ass. They could completely make it better, but I guess they wanted it to be really bad so you would have to either buy the game, see the animatrix, or see the third one.

I like this thread :)

(Presence: what's a movie you would change?)

:machinegu Well if you must know, if I could switch things up
it would be in the Matrix :beam: The one thing and only thing I would have changed in the first movie is right at the end of the conversation with the oracle with the "Poor Morphius, without him we are lost." "What do you mean?" "You sure you want to hear this." THEN CUT!! Don't tell us Morphius is going to die, just have neo walking out eating a cookie and leave us on edge, all we know now is that Neo is not the one and something is going to happen. We know he has to make a decision once he decides to rescue him.:chainsaw:

Dungeons and Dragons.
I cryed so hard after I saw the movie:cry:
Half of the movie was just bad dialog, clichés (sry for the typo) and movie blunders, like when all the good guys apeared at the final battle only to have Jeremy Irons push them to the side.. I mean your "Hero" had to jump through a portal to get there and the rest shows up 2 min later what would had been a week journy:bs:

As a D&D roleplayer I felt so shafted that I had to demand my money back

Right on! This is an excellent topic.
Hmmmm, where to start...
Batman (all of them)
Star Wars (Ep. I, II,& VI)
Matrix (all of them)
The Postman
Pearl Harbour
Star Trek (except for Wrath of Khan, Undiscovered Country & First Contact)
Etc, etc...
There's more but I can't think of them now. Later.

Return of the Jedi. I'm sorry, I'm a huge starwars fan, but that Ewok vs. elite Stormtroopers battle just ruined the movie for me.

Well, K-10 took mine. I thought the D&D movie was utter crap, but that's what happens when you give the rights to a 21-year-old first-time movie-maker who wrote the script himself. Curse you, Courtney Solomon, CUUURRRSSE YOOUUUU!! Of course, Wizards of the Coast needs to take some of the blame for that "gem." After all, they let him use the name and approved the script. And for what? So they could have a movie to bolster sales on the release of Baldur's Gate?? Shaaaaame.

So I'll have to go with all the Highlander sequels (the original was good). I mean, aliens from another planet? WTF?!! And how did MacLeod get the prize if he wasn't REALLY the last immortal? How did he go ALL that time without figuring out that he got runner-up at the end of the FIRST movie instead of the Prize?

I'm going to start a TV series called "When Greed Attacks!" It will explore every good idea that ever got ruined by some greedy executive.

Hmm.. Speaking of that, a number of recent Disney features could make up the first episode...

The postman! That was an awesome book. The guy though (who played in Waterworld, another movie that can be remade) ruined it for me.
The Lord of the Rings movies really didn't do much for me either, I really hated them. They didn't seem "EPIC" like the books did. The fact that frodo would fuck up and the world would die.
For the matrix, that's a great idea. Just cutting right before the Oracle tells neo that would be awesome. "I'm going to tell you, and your not going to like that....but you'll have a cookie and feel better." Then they just show Neo walked out like hes confused (not a first) and look at morpheus awkwardly. I don't think that we should have heard what Trinity's advice was from the Oracle either, or Morpheus'. Maybe in the later movies, that would have rocked my socks.

Kungfu; I thought that Jay and Silent Bob was done pretty well :)

The most dissapointing movie of ALL TIME is Episode 1. Ho-ly shit. Fixing it would be easy though. Just do the exact opposite of what Georgey did and it would be gold, gold I tell you. Actually, if you replace the stupid pod race scene with a huge dancing ewok number, then it'd be awesome.

Kungfu: They totally did! Didn't they? Unless I'm completely stupid.

I have to agree with K-10 and bgrermain. For having such a rich and expansive universe at their disposal, they managed to botch it pretty good.
I would also like to see the third and fourth Alien movies redone. As far as I am concerned, the series peaked at Aliens (the second one). When they killed off Hicks and Bishop in the first scene of Aliens 3, that just pissed me off. I liked those characters a lot. And as for the fourth one, I can't say I really hated it, because I won't even admit that it exists. It just doesn't even belong.
Oh and by the way, I would remake Matrix: Revolutions so that at the end, Keanu Reeves squares of against Agent Smith, says "Station!" and shreds air guitar as he proceeds to beat ass. Then he, Alex Winter and the Grim Reaper throw a killer metal show and the righteous noise causes all the machines to explode. That would be a large improvement over the current ending.

P.S: Jay and Silent Bob made their first appearance in the movie Clerks, but then later became the stars of a comic called "Blunt-man and Cronic." I believe that information is acurate.

I would like to have every movie starring Keanu Reeves erased from history. Cause the guy can't act worth of shit. Regarding the Matrix being so good, well that wasn't exactly his doing.

On a further note, all I can think of is Daredevil.

Underworld. Maybe this time they can introuduce a little character development, interesting plot, or dialog instead of making it a big music video. I remember being so excited about finally seeing the movie, only to leave unfulfilled. It could have been a great flick.

MoonTrap!

Anyone remember it? It's about a 10 000 year old civilization, on the moon. There's robots that build themself from scrap and bodyparts. Just my kinda plot.
It would work great as a horror fps too.

I enjoyed Underworld although i agree with your points..

They could've many things better especially in the character development department...
They also could've shown more of the vampiric powers(speed, agility, etc) Cause the werewolves as opposed to the Vamps seemed incredibly powerful...

The thing that pleased me was how they landed after jumps and falls(when she jumps from the building, and when Speedman jumped from the window, etc) it just looked correct...
But with a 20 million dollar budget and a first time director there is only so much you can do...
