is it to be coloured or just inks or a plain pencil sketch

Hey! That looks great! Maybe you could try coloring it digitally, or something? That way you wouldn't mess with the original :).
Really love the detail on the cloak, very nice job bringing it together at the chest, it looks great. Also love the effect of it over his face, although (I think) the shading on the inner parts of the face (neck, ears and back) should be a little darker. I think it would bring a great contrast, and maybe would really balance the piece. It looks awesome.

Oh, the left eye though looks a little funky, like he was punched and now has a puffy eye. I think its the fact that his eye doesn't match the other (triangle-ish pointing down at the lower part of the eye) and also the shading below the eye, making it look more puffy. You may want to make the eyes look the same, or add some bruises if you wanted to make it look like he had a black eye.
Otherwise it looks great. I'd really love to see more of your stuff (SEARCH: Romus! :))

Hi Romus,

good work and nice rendering. Only thing I see is the left side of his head (his right side). The hood doesnīt seem to follow the form of the head so it seems to flat for me. You see that thereīs volume of the drapery bu it isnīt connected to the volume of the head. I hope I make sense with my limited english ;).

Otherwise good work!

if you have access to a lightbox or light table you can just ink on another piece of paper or board laid over the top o that one.

I have a lightbox, but I am not an inker at all, I think he would be better off with the pencil version :)

Just wanted to say I LOVE this piece! He's really handsome ^_^ Just one thing: I think the hood is too small, in the sense that his head couln't fit in in the volume of the hood as it is. I guess you could fix it in photoshop if u wanna :)
Anyway, good job! I'd love to see this one colored ;)

Thanks Cadence, I'm going to fix that hood for sure. I'll post an update this weekend.
