I think this peice has a really interesting composition. My only beef is with the guy's legs. I don't know what you could do, it just looks sort of strange. Maybe pants or armor?

i think you easily fix the part with the legs by having the cloth be bigger so it covers them.I think the helmet design is great, most other parts look good too. The way he is holding his weapon looks abit crooked tho, i think it shouldnt be perfectly straight like that, cause it looks rather painful for his hand to be in that position for too long.

Good Job.

That's gonna be the start of something nice. The composition and pose is compelling.

Couple questions: is his loincloth meant to me sheer? You can see the dude's ass through the material, not very intimidating. While the anatomy is pretty spot on for the most part, his back, particularily the area under his arm on his back (his Latissimus dorsi) seems sketchy. Also, as previously noted, the hand gripping the weapon doesn't seem to be really holding onto the thing.

the silhouettes in the back look more baddass than he does... HE NEEDS PANTS! or baddass armor!

hmm well he needs pants that seems to be a general point, hmm i was basing him on greek warriors in that they had only head , torso, shin armour, and wore nothing else.( ok the rich could afford extras but the pleb was stuck with the basics) anyway ill be doing up some some armour for the lower body and the rib cage muscles worked out more, thanks Loblaw, also a rework of the hand will be underway tomorrow ( its 3.20 am here) oh and the buttock lines are construction lines , not part of the finished piece just there to figure the character out., should have removed them.

Thanks everybody for your input
