I love the torso and the lighting. The bloody axe is a nice touch. His right (our left) upper arm could use some touching up, as could his left (our right) lower forearm.

Keep working on it, it's gonna turn out great.

Thanks for the comments! I'ts true, i have difficulties with arms, and i concentrated on the torso mostly, which worked out pretty much as i wanted it too (that doesn't happen often). I'll study more anatomy of the arms on the net. I'm also not happy about the position of the arms: the left one (our right) is a little stiff. :googley:

Ahh, this could be a good piece if you re-do this thing.

Keep in mind, nobody holds an axe that high on the top, there's way too little power when holding there, so make him hold the axe a little bit down bellow, at the beginning of the axe. Though leave a bit of it visible, the arms are a little bit too long, just give it more time! :chug:

your character looks a lot like him. you should look him up, he might give you some good inspirations.

hey, i looked up devilman and you're right. the eyes are similar. and those wing-like thingies behind his ears look like the horns on my helmet. The posture is also the same.:afro2:
i tried to work on the arms in ps and painter but it didn't work out well (i have no tablet, only my #$%# mouse). Then i simply wanted to edit it on the original pencil drawing, but i realised that i gave it to a friend a while ago. Well, i'll make another one some time. I did work on it a little bit and i decide to leave it this way. I think the gray gives a good dark mood on it anyway.
