A "dont try this at home" mixed-media experiment.. fairly successful, though i wish i was able to color it in photoshop or something..

once again much props to how you work on the toned paper.
very nice use of white chalk(?) for your highlights, and the water color is hot
the proportion gets a lil banged up in the chinese guys arms and his forthcoming hand should be larger..
but a nice sense of gesture and light overall..

Very beautiful, I love your colour rendering...Especially the old man on the weird creature. It's kind of frustrating to see a drawing like that because I always want to see how the whole world looks like...Don't know if I made myself understandable...

Yo Loop,
Man, You should really finish that piece with the sleeping creature. Its Great. Really nail down the form and lighting and you will have an awesome Portfolio piece. But before that I would suggest that you go back into the drawing and hit everything that needs flushed out.

its a good idea, ive taken about as far as i wanna go for a sketchbook piece.. i woulda loved to do it digitally but i have no computer to do it on (im on a public terminal) but thanks to your encouragement, i may just go ahead and take it further... Siskol, yeah you're right about the monk.. the thing is that i took two photos and combined them, which is really hard..
