Saw the announcement early this morning. I'll miss this guy. He's what a true human being should be--not afraid to try things or push himself, and used his "power" image to further the lives of other, less fortunate people. Salude.

I read about his decision to leave the hospital some weeks ago and it was clear that he had lost his fight against cancer.
A great actor and charismatic person. I enjoyed all of his movies and I know that whole generation did as well.

He was an excellent artist, but he was an even better person. I think George Clooney said it best:

"He set the bar too high for the rest of us," George says. "Not just actors, but all of us. He will be greatly missed."
