this is my very first picture post here..I hope it works. i need to find a new way to host my pics online cuz they way im doing it now is way inconvenient. but anyways I saw this idea on one of the dsg things and decided to interpret my own way...so here it is

to be a direct linked image, the address has to have a .jpg or .gif or .png at the end of it i believe.

oo thanks! but how did you do that? The way I did it was click IMG when posting a new thread and then pasting the url from the image hosting site I'm using (in this case deviant art) do you just add .JPEG to the end of the url or something to do that? Thanks again!

thing of it is, deviantart killed remote linking a couple months ago. you'll have to post the link to the page containing the image or find a host that allows image linking. there should be a list of free hosts somewhere in the lounge.

if you do have an image on a host that lets you link externally, just hit (img)imageurl(/img), using []'s instead of ().

for links, you type (url=theaddress)description(/url), again using []'s instead of (), or just type the url in a post, making sure to have the 'Automatically parse URLs' option below the text window checked.

as for the picture, not half bad! the folds are pretty good. only major complaint i have is that you might want to check some anatomical reference on hands and maybe arms.
