Honestly, your proportions for this character are pretty close to what they need to be. The only things I noticed were that we should probably see a little bit of her left hand on the bench, and her hips could be about 5% wider.

Other than that, if you could do just a little bit more finishing on her, it should make her stand out more from the background. Great work, hope this helps.

One thing I see is in the crease of her left shoulder. That area where the pectoral muscle should be going under the deltoids at an angle... right now the crease is just going straight up... it should be slanting to the left as the pectoralis major spans over the crease.. does that make sense? It's hard to explain, but if you sit in that position, and look at the crease and where the muscles are going you'll see what I'm talking about. They way it is now it doesn't appear that the shoulder and arm are receding in space. That's the only real error I see in it, and her eyes are a bit too wide. It's still a nice piece though, and she's still a hotty ;p Peace

Looking very nice. I think the hand with the dove is bent back just a bit to far, I tried bending mine back that far and found it uncomfortable, also the dove looks a bit to small, (I assume it's a dove?) I think you did a very good job on her face. The eyes are quit captivating.

I tweaked the uploads a bit, so the new pics should be showing now instead of the old ones.

psyob63B : Thank you, tried to tweak some of it :).

Phuzion: I see what you mean. Tweaked the shoulder and the eyes are not that wide anymore. Thank you.

nikia: Thank you. Well, the bird does look like a dove, but I wanted something small that does not draw attention and since is a fantasy setting, well a small dove wouldn't be bad .
As about the hand angle, you probably are right, but it did feel pretty comfotable to my stange joints :).

Also her right arm had some issues, but I think they're solved now :)

Best regards

The leg that is crossed behind....it looks like it is too long.

Ppl have been heavy with the comments so I hope you don't mind this one more. It's looking great!

To move towards a more alive-looking human I'd recommend spending an hour on skin-tone variation. She looks plasticky because she's uniformly flesh-tone. You've done a good job on defining form, but overlay subtle washes of color...rosier cheeks and nose, whiter neck, tan shoulders. For references of subltle

Also you punch up the light a bit ala sargent by bringing out some specular in her hair, nose, breast, etc. If she is dappled partial sunlight you could have some fun with that.

hope-helpful, good luck.

Again, the tweaks are in place, new pics have replaced the old ones.

Phuzion: Thank you ;)

otherside: I love heavy comments :). One of the reasons I don't visit my old internet art hangout that much anymore is that at some point folks stopped moping the floor with me ( needless to say it is bad for artistic growth). I live for criticism :) The leg is tweaked now. Thank you.

Pete MacDonald: That is true, and very useful information. I added some subtle specular and some subtle hues on her.
Trying to add more now would only "patch" the picture, not make it okay (in my opinion) because all the brush strokes are already made and overlaying colors will only make it look less painterly. Will keep it in mind from the start in future works though. Thank you.

Beautiful work!

Hmm, one thing though. I'm not quite sure, but it feels a little bit like her eyes are looking in different directions. More specifically, her left eye seems to be looking straight out of the picture while her right eye is looking slightly to her right.
