Hey

Here's a digital painting of a creature that I've been working on for a while. I've since reworked a few things. For the past four years, I've been working on a story where I get to indulge my writing interests with my art and I've really developed something that I think deserves to worked till completion as agraphic novel or something. In a couple semesters, i hope to be able to take my required independent study term and work full time on this, getting course credit and maybe put something out that I can really be proud of. I don't have a title for it yet.

This creature is represents an entity that has taken evolution under it's own control. The line between nature and artificiality no longer exists and it's composed of a nanomechanical/cell element. This is just one form, maybe a default.

Let me know what you think. My posts always seem to sink faster than I can check them with all the tallent around here.

That is all.

i must say that i like the sketch better, because it's a more interesting composition and the creature itself looks more believable.i don't say that your pic is bad,but in comparison it looks stiff and flat.otherwise it's an interesting concept, reminds me slightly of giger's alien.good luck with your project:)

I agree with Carnifex, but i think you can remedy this by placing some thing in the back ground which will add some depth. But in truth i like the form and structure of the creature.
