I just purchased a set of 48 unused Van Gogh "super fine" oil pastels from a street vendor tonight for really cheap, but I've never used this medium. Anybody familiar with oil pastels? I know that they're pretty much pastels that are solvent-soluble, so I can use a brush for "wash" effects, blends and that sort of thing. Pointers and tips much appreciated, thanks!!
