Nature: frog

My second 2D image with my Wacom tablet, I usually work in 3D...

Nicely done. How ever you should give credit to the original photographer. If you don't know who took the photo then you should say references used. Nice paint job none the less.

Yes bustabustu, you are right.
I don't know who is the photographer, I used a pic I found on my encyclopedia as reference (no paintover).

No big deal. I would how ever like to see more detailed shots that fall between step 3 and 4. It seams like you missed some important steps.

That froq is fantastic. Who cares if there is a photo reference.

He might be a little shinier than the greenery he is standing on. That is all I see.

why is it that everytime i see an artist's work that i like, they have drawn EITHER a kickass realistic amphibion or reptile? Sheez, maybe i should draw a frog or a...monitor lizard, er' something..

I think you should devote as much time and detaal to the rest ot the body as you did for the head. The head looks photorealistic, while the rest seems under par from it. I think some more time on this piece would make it awsome.

Frogs are most beautiful animal on the EARTH, after cats, I really love its colors and stupid expressions! :D
