Hello. We, the InvisiTech GDG, are currently looking for a background artist to render backgrounds for use in our adventure game. The backgrounds will be in the resolution of 800 by 600 pixels (or possibly 640 by 480).
The adventure game we are developing is currently known as Rolf und Joachim, and it is set in France during World War II. The player will take the role of two Nazis known as Rolf and Joachim, who are secretly working for America. They will use their wit to complete 15 missions. 5 missions take place in and around Omaha Beach, 5 take place in French country-land, and 5 more are in cities such as Paris.
The backgrounds will need to be slightly cartoony, yet still hold realistic elements. For reference, here is one of the characters (Joachim):
