mustaq scanner misbehaving, please help

i just bought a new mustaq bearpaw 2400 scanner (image (http://www.pandas.co.il/images/bp1200ta.jpg)). after a few wonderful scan jobs it started scanning blank white. preview scans also show up bad. i tried reinstalling the drivers, playing with the settings, nothing..

scanning gray in 24bit mode *does work, but produces weird yellow /blue outlines.


anyone has an idea what might have gone wrong?
are mustaq scanner any good at all?

If you mean Mustek, then no, they aren't good. They are the worst scanners ever made. Good luck selling it!
