Hello boys and girls!

Here´s a few new covers for some swedish and norwegian books I´ve done lately.

- Monstergirl part four
- Frankensteins Aunt (cover for a new norwegian edition - legendary monster master Hans Arnold did the original cover back in the seventies so they´re quite big shoes to fill...)
- The Prismgalaxy part one

I also redesigned my website - check it out at: http://www.egerkrans.com

Cheers!

Great pieces. You did a great job at instilling character into each and every one of them. Keep it up! :)

It remembers me Simon Bisley, the two fisrt, the other one is different... I think is not good like the other two. But not for Bisley influence. Maybe for time.

In ilustration 1 and 2, there are two hands that are exactly the same, be carefull whith that kind of things, some times it tourns boried the work of some one, and I think that you are very talented. It woul be a pitty, repeat this hand more times.

Very nice style. I can feel a Bisley vibe too.
Have you done any sequential work?

great style!
love the first two, cool style, cool paints and comp.Missing something n the bottom of the tante frankenstein cover, but that might be filled in with some type so no matter at all.
The third one doesn't convince me as much maybe for the elements in the lower part and the central character.First one's my fav, love the expression and background...can't wait to see some more!

5*

Thanks a lot for the comments and the appreciation!

jrr: Nope - these are all made in PS with a graphite sketch as the basis. Actually I´ve never worked in goache although I sometimes miss working in acrylics.

orionlesc: Yeah I guess there´s some Bisley in the first two - I´ve always loved the style of the late 80´s 2000AD artists like Biz, Glen Fabry and Kevin Walker.
And you´re right about the hands. Didn´t spot that until you pointed it out. Thanks - I´ll make mental note not to do that hand again for some time ;)

SEVANS. I´ve done a few comics, but nothing is readily available at the moment. Perhaps you can find a copy of "Drake" somewhere on the internet. Probably not though...

I´ll put up some more stuff soon!

Cheers!

Excellent! The second illustration made me think little bit about the character of "Jafaar" in Walt Disney's ALADDIN. I say this by looking at the fingers and their skinny arms.

Anyways, your work is way to classy :)

Keep up the good work!

Thank you

Jämna plågor. :-) Lite tröttare, lite nördigare, lite fler gråa hår.
