So I was just reading Loomis' creative illustration pdf, and this connection clicked...
Frazetta must've been looking at Creative Illustration a lot during the early 50s and he couldn't have failed to notice that in Loomis' beach picture, rather than looking at the little girl in the foreground, the man lying down seems to be looking directly at the derriere of the gal in front of him.
So looks like Frazetta "paid homage" to Loomis' accidental arse gawkage with his own even more ribald version.
He probably did this as a joke for Krenkel and Williamson...
Still funny.
