Sorry bout' the long wait. I started sitting in on a figure drawing class so i could get better. Both of the drawings are done in about 30 seconds (one was a warm up that came out pretty good.) In here is something that i don't usually do and that's make stuff up entirely out of my noggin'. Well, after seeing (i think it was Bone) some tanks on a sketchbook page, i decided to draw one too.
Enjoy. :)

Here's a broach that was sitting in our room. I drew it and the things around it, then drew it two more times at different angles.

Yeah, i tried that, "slow" thing....it didn't really work out. SO, here's a scary woman that i inspired by Neil Gaimen's "Delirium" character from the Sandman series:

I know it's not that great, i did it in about five minutes. :(

here are two images that i drew yesterday but didn't get a chance to color. Well, here they are:

I like your latest color work, great array of colors on the hand especially. My favorite has to be the shell - you've managed to capture several different tones and it makes a smooth gradation which helps the realism of the shell.
I can relate about the slower sketches, but I believe in them. Give them another try :)

Here's a chunk of amnythist that i drew this morning. I don't think this quite successful because of the lack in light side/dark side and reflective elements.
At about December 9th or so, i'll have a 13-16 page panel narrative up here and some woodcuts from print making class.
ANYwho, here's the sketch of the day:

It seems your pencil lines are a bit unsure.. Like scratched in until they fit :). You are pretty good, I see that on the amethyst and some of your pictures. I would practice drawing things with single lines and long strokes instead of scribbling.. Hope it helps :)

Here's the coffee house where the missus plays in her rock shows. Yeah, about the car, i drew it on the way there and then just incorperated it into the lighting scheme.
I tried just line instead of scribbling. I'm not sure how i feel about the result.
The work reminds me of www.olivierkugler.com (http://www.olivierkugler.com)

Sheez, been a while. Well I hope for those of you that celebrate Thanks givin' that you had a good one. Taking a little break from school helped me clear my noggin' of the clutter. I find that i draw better when i'm enjoying it, not seeing it as a day to day duty. :)
