Hi I'm from the Philippines. I'm 19 years old and it's my first time here.

(SORRY 'BOUT THIS SECOND THREAD>>>MY COMPUTER KEPT SUBMITTING NEW THREADS INSTEAD OF SAVING CHANGES...HOW DO I DELETE THIS ONE????)

Feel free to give me advice about anything. I just love to draw and I don't know the technicalities. I was linked here through Deviantart.

I posted this same thread on Studies but I'd also like to start a diary and these are the sketches I have....I'm not well versed in realism but I really want to be.

I was was awed and inspired at the level artists are at in this site and the concept behind the site. People are so focused and willing to help each other...it was simply wonderful. It would be nice to have a good foundation in drawing. Drawing from life is something I absolutely believe in.

I'd appreciate it if you would take the time to critic me. I'm hungry for it. I absolutely LOVE art and aspire to be the best artist I can be.

Thank you SO much in advanced.

GOD BLESS!!!

I would say work on proportioning/scale. In a few of these images, some of the heads are to big for the bodies also some of the hands, feet, etc. Keep practicing, that's the best advice I can give you.

Hey, I'm Filipino. Well, my grandparent were anyway, straight from Manila.

^ Agreeing with Robot, perhaps do a few more full-body studies with muscles/bones? One of the ones I noticed while simply skimming through is this one (http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p140/anamicah/Untitled-13.jpg), and how the arm is a little short.

Anyhow, I really love your color pencil work! The way you can use midtoned paper is very nice as well. I will encourage though, that you use the attachments rather than IMG codes. Plus this gets you a picture for your thread so that people will more likely look at your post. ;]
