Hello everyone, there are so many talented artists here, im a bit ashamed to show my work ...
here is some stuff i did in school last year.
i was a student in a good illustration school in France, but for financial matters i had to drop it this year, so i will only have a few hours of art lessons (figure drawing mostly) per week in some free ateliers, and i will have to improve by myself. SO i think your help will be greatly appreciated, i'll try to jump on every subject i found here (i would have participated to the thunderdome thing if i had knew the site before) to improve.
In the art school i was i developped some skills in life drawing and observation drawing, i had anatomy lessons too, but im still very weak when it comes to full scale illustration, especially with character poses / movement / balance ... and imagination drawing is not my strong point at the moment, i have a hard time putting on the paper everything im thinking about.
Btw i am 21 and my goal would be to work in the video games field. next year i will do a paid formation in a animation/3d/video game school (part time studies / part time work). So for this year im on my own, and i need to motivate me to not fall into lazyness ... but you guys (and ladies) keep me motivated, when i see such beautiful artwork
here is a gouache study of a doll i own, doen for the realistic drawing class

a pastel drawing of a michaelangelo sculpture, done in plaster drawing class

and a comic strip (planche de bande dessinée) based on the "Simetierre" novel by stephen king, we had to choose a page of a book and illustrate it as a comic. Done in acrylic.

comments and critics are appreciated, i already know some of the flaws in the comic thing, but anything will be useful, i need to know better my weaknesses in order to improve.
