This one i was getting used to gouache, so it is a bit on the muddy side.. plus she was a lot cuter than i drew her hah...

All are awesome. Though I especialy like the fourth and last. you did a great job with the red. I have been having a real hard time with fleshtones and red myself, but you have just done such an awesome job.

thanks for the kind words.. i love using reds, but i tend to overuse it... yesterday i did a painting with no reds in it.. i'll post it when it dries... Its all about value and color temperature.. you just cant do a convincing figure without em... good luck with your paintings, hope you master reds someday!

pretty good stuff. heh, i can pretty much tell which models are which. that one is the new asian model right (the 5th one on the page)? last one kinda looks like jessica (i think thats her name) but anyway, i would say just try and describe the form more with your strokes. make sure each stroke tells something. i would really watch the transition between the guys forhead and his hairline. make sure it isnt so hard. the tops of his feet look really good. in the last one, watch out for little isolated bits of color, like the strong yellows that pop up (on her knee and top of her left breast). try and integrate them more into the rest of the figure and not make it so saturated compared to the rest of the beautiful skin tones you have going on.

yep you could tell who the models were, thats a good sign..lol..thanks for the crit dude.. ill keep them in mind.. i dunno why i left those yellows in her skin, they look pretty ugly now that i really notice em..
