Hi everyone,
My name is Loic Claveau and i'm working for a big online Publisher/Developer company. I've been working for few months now on a new concept that I'd like to pitch to my company. I just want to say that I'm not in hurry :)
Of course, I'd like to do so in a proper manner and that's why I'm here. I would have prefered it to be a paid job but unfortunately, that would only come if the game was successfully pitched and the whole thing put into motion.
To give you a brief background on the game, the settings are inspired from the Gold Rush period. The game genre is closer to a simulation than a roleplaying game in the sense where players would incarnate citizens in a world with free interactions. The main focus of the game is the crafting and the conquest of land (in other words, a highly competitive world - i don't like the word PvP :))
Players can play either Settlers (Cowboys) or Natives and they will have to fight one against each other but for different values. The former to expand (they value gold), the latter, to protect and secure sacred lands (they value ancient spirits).
----------
What I would need basically is several pieces including Mood Boards (Look & Feel), Landscapes and Views, Settlers and Native everyday activities.
Few ideas on top of my mind:
1. Everyday situation in a Wild West Town
2. Natives doing their regular things (coming back from hunting, cooking, smoking or dancing, etc.)
3. Environment and Beautiful Landscapes.
Thank you everyone and if you need more info, let me know!
