Well, I'm having issues doing hair. :/ Easiest thing for me in photoshop, but I can't quite get it in painter. :(
What are some good brushes or settings for painting hair?

You could try: Oils - Variable flat(default settings). It works fine for me.
Or just any brush in the oils category in general.

Hey thanks. That actually worked quite nicely. Of course it's still a bit shaky for me, but that's just something I'll need to work on myself now. ;)

The scratchboard tool can be nice and effective making nice thin to thick lines for *details* although you can use it to mass in the hair too. Oils blend rather well, and changing the digital watercolor around a bit can get you some nice effects too.
I guess it depends on how to approach it.
If you like round, change the dab type (oils like smooth camel) to Circular and save it as a variant.
