I like them. I like the poses, subject matter, color and dynamism. The kind of artsy, oil-painted look isn't my favorite style though. I prefer a more photorealistic rendering style.

Beautiful pieces. Particularly love your compositions--the dragon is really powerful.

Sometimes doing something well is better than doing something original, can't remember who said that, but these are very well done. =D

I gave you five stars only because of this (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=456619&d=1220701285) piece. I even left a comment in your thread.

I for one like the chunky look. Even though the subject matter may be tried and true, these pics put a fresh take on it. The one with the monk in particular's cool, there's this old school Conan-ish feel to it.

Hey Evan. Really atmospheric and expressive images. I can't tell where the digital stops and the traditional begins. I'll be checking in on your blog on a regular basis. Looking forward to what's coming up.

The first one is pure 100% Energy. And the second one as well, I'm really enjoying the medium showing through. The last one is a bit stiff, though.
But man, that Robin Hood one is juicy...

this is more than cliche, this is awesome. the rough and color palette gives it life and flavor to the action.

They're beautiful, especially the last two. The dynamicity of last one stunned me, the power of the dragon can almost be FELT.

Hey Evan, you're one of my favorites man! My favorite piece I have seen you do is a procession of tanks kicking up a bunch of dirt with a bunch of British soldiers running in the foreground. Not sure what that was for but it remains in my inspiration folder on my desktop.
