Hi all,

I've been having some trouble trying to figure out some finer anatomy details lately. Namely, the way the trapezius will bulge over the scapula on the back for muscular figures. Also the way the radial brachialis wraps around the forearm in various poses, and its position relative to the flexors and extensors.

perhaps someone can clue me in here?

Best way to go about it is tracing over bodybuilding photos(learned about it from reading an article about Neal Adams), that will teach lots really fast.
Two books I'd recommend, pretty sure both are public domain:
R.G.Hatton "Figure Drawing". Very good for learning about the various parts of anatomy.
Vernon Blake "The Art and Craft of Drawing." Very good for learning about the way those parts fit together to form a unified whole.
The different parts of the body have different gestures, and link into one another in particular ways. Like the stomach for example, in your drawing the abs are shooting upwards into the the bottom of the ribs forcing the torso back, I don't sense the spine supporting it, so the two parts look unarticulated. You can use the obliques to help clue in the existence of the back. Tracing bodybuilding photos is very good for learning how the different parts all overlap and lead into one another, they call it "tying in" of "tie ins" in bodybuilding vernacular.
