Hey all, well I have not yet posted art here and I finally got ahold of a friend's digital camera.
This is a design for a screenplay I have been writing for the past few years on a full time basis.
Tear it apart. Oh you have to drag the link to your address bar.

I hope this works.

This is actually quite good despite having the perspective seem a bit off on the figure. (Hard to tell with the flash there, though...and the fact that the camera wasn't quite balanced with the piece for the shoot.) There are also a few other things I could wax anal-retentive about, but this looks pretty neat overall. I'm sure that the more experienced artists here will have more criticism to say though.
In fact, the only real criticism I can level at you is that you really ought to get a better host for your work than tripod. As with Devianart, they don't allow for remote linking or image leeching (hence your "this image hosted by tripod" avatar which we are all seeing) which means we have to manually copy-paste the text in order to actually see the image.
If you earn some good money as an illustrator, it would be an excellent investment to buy a good digital camera of your own (if for any reason, to take pictures of references) and to buy a decent host for your images. Also I'm sure some of the people here can give you some sound advice on photographing your pieces for portfolio or presentation.

Thanks Dan, I wish I had time for all of that but I am focusing on the script right now and the drawings tend to come second as to I have a very limited amount of time to work on them. I will consider all you have mentioned though.

I really like the design of the character. I would love to see some more, and have them scanned on a flatbed.

I will try to get them done on a flat bed asap but the problem is the drawing is 2.5 ft by 1ft (I like larger sketch pads)
So I am thinking it is going to have to be done in sections, if anyone has any advice on doing this then bringing it together in PS.
Let me know
Cheers

Thanks for the compliments man.
Yeah the reason the perspective seems a little strange with the legs is because at the end of the water line it is suposed to be another waterfall falling down between his legs.
You can't see the drop off very well and if I get it colored I think a little mist will help that out.
Thanks again though
