This is a 30 second T.V commercial I've just completed for a school project.
It is based on a script provided by 'Florida's Natural'.
Not 100% finished, but it's the closet I've come to a finished project.
Characters are cell animated and scanned to Toon Boom for colouring.
Camera movements are made in Toon Boom, and compiled with sound in Premiere.
Thanks for watching!

Good work. The animation looks solid, you forget sometimes that youre watching a drawing and accept that its an actual person speaking to us. Btw, the facial animation and lip sync is great. Maybe some animation on the eyes would add more, but then again it looks fine by itself.
Out of curiousity, how did you do the opening doors at the start? I've got a scene similar to that in my grad film.
Good suff. Looking forward to the next project!

Thanks guys.
how did you do the opening doors at the start?
It's very easy. I made the doors in the photoshop and save as two separate images.
Then I just animate them in Toon Boom by resizing and skewing.
You can do the same in Premiere and Aftereffects.
If you want to be really fancy about it, you can model and animate the doors with 3D software and lay it over the footage.

Your main character seems to be very delicate as he moves somewhat slowly during the start of the clip and toward the end with the wand thing (mostly during anticipations). Oh, just a small comment on the sound; I couldn’t understand what he said over the volcano sfx. Might want to kick that in the background ;)
Overall I love it and don’t grow tired of listening to it. Kudos!

egrie: Thank you!
Are the delicate movements a bad thing? I guess he should be somewhat more snappy.
He says, "Better put those helmets on!".
bigzax: Oh, it's still working on my end. I'm not sure.
