it's badly stitched and painted
Well.. you said it.
I think you'll have to make a lot more, before we can properly give crits.
Well, it doesn't really look like a toy... because the painting is a bit muddy and far too rushed. Looks like you didn't really put any thought into it.

It may look to yo like tht but I did put lotsa though to it....the only thing is that I dont know how to stitch.... I made these without any manual or instruction...
and its painted rushly but its not muddy in my opinion........
I will do more so I can get crits properly and I am now viewing those tutorials ....so I do get better....anyways toys or not making these thingies is fun...

I actually like them! :) I'm sure you could do better once you get more experience sewing and making patterns (there are good sewing and embroidery tutorials on the net, I have yet to find a good one about making patterns), but I think their gritty feel is quite unique. It looks like something taken out of the last Batman's movie, I dunno, like the Joker's favorite toys?
A bit of advice: If you're gonna paint on them, you may wanna consider using a thicker fabric, or even painting canvas. In some cases it may also be best if you paint before sewing. And I think this could look cool also if you used a thick yarn to give them some outside (though merely ornamental) big stitches.
Keep at it :)

I paint on thin cloth also,it works for me.You could try to cover first with a layer or two of gesso, it will become stiffer but is more easy to paint on because your paint wouldn't soak in the fabric.
And the most important thing imho is that you have the desire and energy to make them :)

i agree with endtroid: there are minor craftsmanship issues but the overall impression is valid and definitely raw ass Bhanu! go doood! lets see some more! :) i know you are bigger than it, but yeah, don't listen to the mean ass crits because that's just trying to tear you down for no good reason. the paint job is really sweet – and being creative as you are you NEED to expirement in the 3D area. really though, keep going man, i'm inspired by what i'm seeing here! i want one for my room!

For now, though, this viewer is honourable enjoying the mix of witching and the mediaeval and uncovering that Merlin, though perhaps not quite Robin Toughie (the person of these Sabbatum period adventures), is a lordly way to garner around the guild wars gold (http://www.ugamegold.com/c_Guild-Wars/) broadcasting with the home.
...huh?
