Haven't posted for months. I use the creature from the black lagoon for reference. I want to see if I could cast a jointed figure. Going to try and use bondo and resin mixture to make mold as well as a little fiberglass Mat. The figure is going to be riding a seahorse eventually. I see some guy using to silicone to make mold, but I don't have access to any kind of it in lethbridge. I saw some taxidermist use bondo and resin to make a mold and it preserved the details of the scales and fins, so I though I would give it a try. Any suggestions would be great.

Sorry I have not noticed this thread until now...

Your sculpting is terrific - your photos terrible ;-)
Nice textures and wringels on the creature. I would really recommend using a neutral background - that would give him (the creature) so much more credit.

you can order the silicone needed for casting online. unless you live in the middle of howhere, UPS should be able to get it to you. Although... i do realize there are parts of the world where you still cant get packages...

great piece though. kind of 'Incan god meets creature of the black lagoon' i dig it
