well, this is an anatomy picture that I did very recently. It's more or less a rough sketch, to try and improve upon my anatomy skills. I used an anatomy book that we had at the house to study on, and then drew this one from my head. I don't think I'll be doing any more on it though. Let me know what ya think, I like it:D

Anghardel,
It's a good start. You have the major muscles of the torso accounted for. However, your bone structure is off. The skull does not have concave hollows on it side in that shape (right around where the temple should be). The zygomatic arches are not even either. As far as the torso is concerned, it doesn't appear to have a backside. It looks very flat instead of three dimensional. Also, you don't have many side muscles well defined when they should be.
One other thing. On your next attempt, draw from straight in front of or behind the figure. No three quarter views like this one. I makes it easier to focus on the structure and proportions. Then try doing a three quarter view.
You might want to check out the life drawing threads on the board and Barnes &Noble. I've quite a few good anatomy and reference books from their shelves.
Good luck!
Sincerely,
Chris

ahh, thank you very much. I iwll go and take a look at the picture again, and see what you spoke of. Perhaps I will go back and try to re-draw this to get a better feel for how everything should be. I know I missed a lot of the muscles such as the obliques, and the serratus aren't present either. I on;y included the major muscles of the abdomen, I probably could have put them all.
thanks again
