the only thing that bothers me a bit is that the light seems to be mirrored as well as the faces. having one block of four faces lit by the same light (resulting in overhead, left, right and down-up-light on the different faces) would be killer.

mid-twenties you say? aw shit... i'm 20 now and i have no idea how that will become any darker... argh, i'll run into anything that's around in my soul...

well, i am about out of my twenties (30 in march), and I can agree with that. i have some really dark and brooding times in the last near decade, but, yet, they were a blast!

this piece seems to reflect all that has been dark to you, but, funny how it is a dark reflection yourself, giving the idea you were the reason for the darkness, but, then wouldn't really be a major doubt in my mind!

I don't see a mirror...

Remember when you were little and kids would make little... flower-type things out of folded paper, and when they'd ask you a number and you'd say 3 and they would open the paper in different directions 3 times and then you would pick a color and so on... This reminds me of a dark one of those :)

Oh man, this is great! It crossed my mind recently that Halloween is coming up and I couldn't help but think, I wonder what Andrew is going to post for Halloween? Could this be a primer for the 31st? Let's hope so!

There are few pictures that make me think "I wish I'd have thought of or done that" because it is so damn good. For me, this is one of them. Very powerful and very well done.

Hi ya'll.First timer here.That is probably one of the coolest self portraits I've seen you do, Andrew.That along with a couple of your Alex Grey appropriations and yourself painted as a demon with a third eye.I wish I had a wacom tab at home so I could do some digital paintings.Keep on truckin!:beer: :beer: :whoa:
