I've switched to a drawing pad few weeks back, but its so slippery!
Whenever im drawing i stretch a piece of semi smooth paper on the surface to prevent from sliding out of curves etc.
Is this normal? Any others who do the same, or is it just n00bishness?

dont get discouraged it takes some getting used to, it isnt the same as drawing on paper and some have more trouble than others, i couldnt even write my name the first time i touched one.
also there is nothing wrong with what ur doing. personal preference, id try a few weeks with out if tho
good luck!

You might be pressing down too hard. It might be a hbit you have, but im just guessing. Never had that problem myself.

Ya know, I did the paper ont he tablet trick and it didn't work for me. It was too scratchy. Maybe the wrong kind of paper?
