Hi Guys

I wanted to purchase Charles Bargue's Cours de dessin from the Dahesh Museum Shop(Couldn't find another site that sells it at a reasonable price) but couldn't due to some problems regarding my location. I emailed the Museum and the admin told me that the website has a problem processing orders from certain countries and i happen to live in one of them.

She then went on and said that she could help process my order if i sent her my order particulars, shipping address and credit card number via 2 emails to be safe. Another alternative was to call the museum.

However, I've read and heard that it is not really safe to give out one's credit card number via phone or email. I really want to get the book, but am unsure of what to do next.

Anybody got any suggestions? Would appreciate it.

Thanks.

I'd phone it in rather then email it. I just feel better talking to a live person than sending my CC number to an inbox -- especially since you've built a rapport with someone through email. I ordered Jeremy Lipking's DVD by phone and didn't have any problems.

You're not from Canada, are you? The Academy of Realist Art had a few copies for sale this summer.

The Dahesh still exists, but they currently don't have a display space. Their web site and on-line shop are still operating.

I actually ordered lecomte du nouy book with exactly the same way, from the museum. And it worked perfectly.

Cant say that its 100% waterproof but it worked on me.
