Hi there
This is the first time I've posted concept designs here and I am a total newbie. I've been lurking and occasionally posting for a while now and have been gobsmacked by the level of talent that posts on this forum. I've been trying to learn marker sketching and if any of you could give me tips on how to improve I would really appreciate the help.

pretty cool, i especially like the dactyl
i think that if you change the file name from .jpeg to .txt it'll work, at least it did for me with tripod

First of all: your sketches are little bit flat. So try to make difference between the back of your model and the front of your model (f.e. ship), than You'll get the illusion of deep. And You're not to obliged to colour all of your model. This bird can have some parts without the markers - it'd make the raptor more alive.
I like those little studies of the wings on the second work.

Thanks for the advice Yaseck! What do you mean by f.e ship? And how do I make a difference between the back of the picture and the front? shading? What are you reffering to as a "raptor"?
And when you say I'm not obliged to colour all of my model... can you clarify what you mean? Do you mean I could have parts (such as arms say) uncoloured or do you mean the whole piece should use lack of colour as highting?
Anyway cheers for the crit dude, much appreciated!
