Ok, so its a goblin, the filename is kobald, and it looks liek an elf. I'm really confused

Seriously, though, great pic. Love all the texture.

That's a great piece, Dura. You chose a great color palette here and loaded it with texture... sweet work!

I love the atmosphere and the colours, and that little guy has an air of such innocence. This is a real inspiration.

thx all very much

Dementist, "kobold" is the german word for goblin.
And well, you might think of something green, but kobolds dont have to be i think. ;)
Perhaps its more like an elv, but what you think about if you read "elv"? Not this, right? ;)
So well, just names.

What depth! there are so many nice touches, and there is so much more to look that a first glance won't be enough!

the bark, and the three in the bg are so cool.

well we can tell you just popped the goblin in there cuz he looks like you just threw him in as an afterthought. Leave him out and this might be a nice image. You can render a tree very nicely, you've proven that to us, but don't ruin your pictures cuz you think you need to "add a character". He screws up the composition, and doesn't add to the nice dark feeling the rest of the image has.
Take him out then look at the image, if there's nothing to do to salvage the picture don't do anything. If you really want to fix it, add something, just not him. Think about how he's stuffed into the lower left corner....

nono, i thought(understand as "known" from your innerself) i have to add "exact this" charakter.
And i saw the image without him, nice, but in a way a bit boring - well, as i said, something still missing.
So well, i still dont know if your critique ist meant to be true, because so many people told me how they especially like that i added him.
So, perhaps the only thing i did wrong was to tell about this afterthought. ;)

Robulus, thx, this is the greatest compliment i got this far. :)

infinitipo, hehe, nice thought -so perhaps there is something, i dunno. ;)

So well, thank you all for your reply, this means a lot to me.
