a few weeks ago mr Hawkprey put some tremendous character designs in his very own and perfect loose way. This illo is highly inspired by one of his pics.

Great rendering..

I really like the work on your site and the stuff you've posted
before.. excellent ..

I really like the mood of the piece.. specially through the color palette..

this may seem like a mute point.. but could the collar be a bit more detailed? Perhaps its in need of some stronger cold highlights on the chest to contrast the deep warm shadows beneath the neck..

Also that staff is a really interesting piece..

would love to see more!

Cheers

wow... not too many replies :(
'seems like the illo is more shitty than I thought. Anyway, I know there are lots of things that don't go. I won't be hurt if you tell me that you dislike the pic as far as you tell me why ;)

thx Atmos and Kambei for the words.

I dig it, but I don't think it's as successful as some of your other pieces. Some of the anatomical structuring looks odd and IMO kind of detracts from the piece. What bothers me is mainly the connection point between the collar and the jaw (the whole head, really) and the torso. Perhaps if the head and neck area were given a more believable silhouette and restructuring it would work better.

I like everything else about it, but I don't feel that these parts in the anatomy are working. I defintely don't think it's shitty because it's got a lot going for it. :chug:

The first thought was "wow", i think because of the great colorchoice and texture. The overall image is - no question - quite good.
I think a problem is a bit, that there are not as good points if you take a closer look at it. So all her anatomy looked a bit that you were afraid of making decision. so the staff is still at second glance really attractive, 'cause every line in there seems so say "i am right here!"
