Just learned some new trick with Painter 7 so I tried it out with this painting. I'm still trying to get a handle of Painter 7 but so far so good. If only they make a glazy brush that does not get darker when overlapping, then I would quit photoshop entirely. Thanks for all the comments from my last post, u guys really keeps me motivated :) My site has also been buggy lately. I should have a new domain soon and I'll post it here.

note: this image is brightest sensitive, so I'm hoping that its not too dark or too bright to some of u.

I like the mix between futuristic and old medieval style.
I thnik you could accentuate a bit the light trough the walls.

I think the robot in the foreground is very cool but not in the good place...

You could put it in the right because here it break the depth of the image.

By the way very nice work

No, not too bright or dark here.

I really like the machanical and architectural aspects of your piece. I admire the flexion of the corridor, and the warm incoming light source. =)

I'm not quite sure what's the link between the fore-figure and the figure in the background though, what's happening? Is there action between them or are they just becoming aware of eachother, etc?

Anyhow, took a look at your site, really cool art there, and some interesting ideas floating around in your head.

This reminds my of Morrowind. Great job and no problem with the brightness here

Thanks for all the encouragements and thought out critiques.

TJ Verhagen, Jrr - I feel warm and fuzzy :)

Romus - I guess I'm just being anal, I've been using different computer and every time I load up this image, it looks different on every screen.

hed|lamb - I just got inspire by an old master painting of gladiator with its diffuse lighting from thin strips of golden lights. This scene is where the "robot" character is showing the boy in the distance the architecture of her "mind". The environment is suppose to be a solar-powered "hard-drive" of the robot.

bOne - The reason for the robot placement is that the vanishing point of this image radiate from her heart. I don't know if anyone even notice this so I guess it was wasted effort. But thanks for the well thought out crit, it's always nice to hear it from a fresh perspective.
