I'm a senior in Highschool and I am looking to attend colleges like Ringling or Savannah for Computer Animation. What is going to carry my portfolio are the films that I have made in my highschool 3d animation classes (which are far better than my drawing skills) but the admissions people say to submit 10 drawings, half of which should be observational.
Anyway, I have an anime influenced drawing style when I draw from imagination and I hear they hate anime... but will they hate this?
Just thought I'd inquire.

(Oh and it's drawn in flash. They are characters of my webcomic, Anthem.)

Hi there. I really dig your stuff. Just to let you know, I'm a 3rd year student at SCAD majoring in Sound design, but minoring in Sequential art. A good way to submit your portfolio would be to do 10 pieces that are observational; still lifes, life drawings, etc, the last 10 should be stuff of your own design, like the work that you have done here. This helps to show a balanced view of your work. Hope that this helps you out.
