I found a link with a LOT (...a LOT!) of images on steppe warriors...it will be slow to load it all, but there are references from ancient to modern warriors in there.

I've downloaded 876 images with DownThemAll, I think the total was around ~950, in browser mode it would probably crash. You might want to try to use the plugin to get most of them.
