There's always the stock photo behemoths, Corbis (http://pro.corbis.com/), Getty (http://www.gettyimages.com/Home.aspx), and iStockphoto (http://www.istockphoto.com/index.php).

as much as I hate deviantart.com for multiple reasons there is a pretty good selection of stock images to study from. Just do a search on children on the site. You should be able to find a fair amount
