Hey guys, I'm wanting to go to college for Special Effects Design, but I'm having a hard time finding schools or programs in school for this specific field of study for some reason. I don't know if people in SFX design just into Visual Arts or what, but I want to find a good school for it. I currently live in West Virginia (ew), but I plan on moving to Panama City with my friend and going to the super cheap community college here for my core classes, and I'd rather not have to move again if I don't have to, but if there's a school worth the move then I'll defintely do it. I can always move back, right? Lol anyway, I've been looking at SCAD pretty hard for awhile, but maybe there's even an online school that someone could recommend (although I don't know if I really want to learn online, I'd like to go for the experience too if possible) Anyway, any info in appreciated. Thanks in advance :D

Special effects is a combination of a lot of disciplines, some technical and some artistic. You'll likely have to narrow down what you want to do.

Lol well I guess that's one of my problems, then. See, I really like the costume creation/sfx make-up part of special effects, but I also like the CGI/animation side. I'm having problems deciding which I want to do, and I can't figure out any way to pick. :c
